jazz guitar lesson by dafsaer
A solo played over a Howard Roberts lesson from his 'Super Chops' jazz instruction method. I am not a natural jazzer. Before studying 'Super Chops' for six months, I had a working knowledge of scales and arpeggios from classical studies and a degree from the Guitar Institute, but I didn't really have much of a clue before working with the Howard Roberts book. To a non-jazzer, it probably sounds pretty good (perhaps I'm being immodest; it may sound like a pile of shite) - to an experienced jazzer, it will probably sound pedestrian and predictable! I recorded the backing track with ProTools LE.
